Working online in South Africa

There are so many adverts posted all over South Africa advertising "Work from Home" or "Work Online" opportunities that promise you the world, but once you have handed over the cash you soon sadly realise that it is a scam. All your hopes and dreams that you put into this opportunity have been smashed to pieces and you are still sitting at square one where you started and a few hundred Rands poorer!!! Many of these so called business opportunities offer online work on a website but once you get to the website you will discover that theses websites with its links and training methods is outdated!!!

To try and find legitimate online work is like trying to find a needle in a haystack!!!! You have to be ripped off quite a few times before you find anything worthwhile.

For example I signed up for a Work from home package paid R450.00 and it said I must go to a website where it will teach me how to do affiliate marketing and it promised that I'd make thousands of Rands per day. The problem with this site was that many of the links to the Affiliate Sites where either broken or outdated, then they wanted me to use their Pay Pal account to receive payment (the money must go into the companies Pay Pal account and then they would pay me) and then the marketing methods used was methods that might have worked 10 years ago but definitely not today. At the time I was new to this whole Affiliate marketing thing so I did everything as they instructed - I never made a cent. It was only after I realised that I had been scammed did I then start doing some research and started discovering a whole new world to online marketing.

What I found was that Affiliate marketing has over saturated the Internet - every one is doing it. I am doing a bit of Affiliate marketing myself but I found that since the global recession started people are less willing to buy products online, and more people are trying their hand at Affiliate marketing which is making the competition quite stiff.

But what I have discovered though is Freelancing online, and it actually makes money!! The competition is allot less than that of Affiliate marketing and it pays almost immediately per task completed. Freelancing seems to be one topic that hasn't taken over the Internet yet and it is worthwhile.

Why freelancing? Because almost any skill is welcome. Employers are willing to pay you for your skills to do certain tasks such as translating a letter into another language, or capturing data into an Excel spread sheet, doing some Internet research or even blogging about certain topics, converting PDF files into word, grammar and spelling proofing, accounting, creating a Power Point presentation, web design, computer programming, writing articles in almost every field from engineering to medical related topics to even something simple like cooking, creating business logos, writing educational content, if you have secretarial skills you can even freelance as a virtual assistant (online secretary/PA), etc. and this is just some of the tasks that I personally do and get paid for. Why would someone want to pay you to do these kinds of tasks? Because they don't have the skills to complete the tasks themselves or they just don't have the time to do it.

SA Bizzz is Launched!!!!

I have created a website based on my personal experience of working online. Here you will find links to online work such as freelancing, Affiliate marketing completing surveys, creating, promoting and selling e-books. I provide all the necessary resources with online training, tips, help and support. All of the programs are free to sign up with - you should never have to pay to work. The resources have all been researched and tested by myself to ensure that you get quality and scam free content. I personally earn an income from the above work.

The reason why I created the SA Bizzz website is because when I was retrenched from my Conveyancing job at the beginning of 2009 I could not find alternative work so I bought one of those work from home packages only to get scammed!!! I had heard of people earning a living online but I couldn't figure out how they did it so I started doing a lot of research on the Internet and tried allot of programs and got scammed quite a few times, and it was only through trial and error did I manage to differentiate between the legitimate jobs and the scams and only then did I start earning an income online. So to help my fellow South African's out I put all the up-to-date legitimate jobs that actually pay you for your work (instead of scamming you) together into a website so that you don't have to waste your time and money being scammed over and over before you start earning an income. To be honest with our current economic situation with the price of everything going up and people losing their jobs or just not getting a salary increase I don't think you can afford to be scammed or to waste time doing research for legitimate work. I make a big effort to keep my website up-to-date with the latest content, advise and tips to give you the quality that you deserve and to assist you in building an online business.
